The OSHA Excavation Safety (Competent Person) course helps satisfy the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1926.650. This course is meant for the employer designated “Competent Person” at the excavation or trench jobsite, or any excavation workers.

*Per OSHA, at least one person at the excavation site must have this training.
