-Tyler is a Paramedic and instructor living in Lubbock, Texas with his wife and three children. His path to becoming a paramedic and instructor began with a desire to serve and a drive to understand the “why’s” behind emergency medicine. He is committed to retaining his skills and never stop learning as he believes an instructor must continuously learn to provide the best experience for his students. He has experience in flight, critical care, and the 911 EMS settings and has presented for national level continuing education programs. Tyler truly enjoys teaching emergency and critical care medicine and breaking down the difficult to understand concepts with real world tangible examples. He also considers himself a bit of a storm chaser because when his children hit a room it looks like an F5 tornado went through.
